Hooptime High School Players 2017

Player: Kobe Hoover
Position: Shooting guard/Small Forward
Height: 6'0
Weight: 155 lbs
DOB: 11-12-2000
Player bio: My name is Kobe Hoover. I love the game of basketball and really like learning all types of playing styles. I go to the gym as often as I can which is everyday. I push myself to get better every way that I can. I lift weights and  work out my whole body. I love shooting the ball as often as I can. I would say my shot is consistent but it could improve. I like to dribble the ball and am emphasizing a lot of ball pressure. I like to play physical and drive the lane if it's open. I am working on having quick feet on defense and I try work hard on doing that. I am a catch and go/shoot type of player. I have more to learn about the game of basketball but I am a hard worker and not afraid to work for it.

Player: Kamron Falls

Position: Power Forward/Center

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 170

DOB: 09/25/01

Player Bio: My name is Kamron falls. I love playing basketball more than anythingI first started playing basketball when I was in 8th grade and now I find myself trying to get as much time in the gym to do what I love, basketball. I like learning more about basketball to expand my game anytime. My favorite part of the sport  would definitely be the competitiveness of the game. I like to play tight defence and make my opponent turnover the ball as much as possible. I enjoy shooting also but get a little timid at the three point line and beyond. I play physically and love attacking the lane if it's open. I struggle the most with my passing and dribbling, I plan to improve there as much as possible. I am a hard worker and ready to put in the work.

Player: Krishant Samtani
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 160
DOB: 05/03/01.
Player Bio: My usual position is a 1-3. This summer I am playing for the Hooptime AAU team. As a freshman I was on C-team then as a sophomore I was on the varsity
team at Juneau Douglas High School. In the off season I try and go to our local racquet club 2-3 times a day, almost every day. There I do various different basketball drills and I lift weights to strengthen my body. Outside of basketball I like to hangout with friends and family and strive in my academics. As a freshman I maintained a 3.6 GPA and as a sophomore I maintained a 3.0, I look to get a 4.0 my upcoming junior and senior year. My goal right now is to win the Big Foot Hoops tournament that my AAU team is going to, then help my High School win a state championship, after high school I would like to play collegiate basketball anywhere.

Player: Joshua McAndrews

Position: Point Guard

Height: 6'0

Weight: 150 lbs

DOB: 1/7/2000

Player Bio: I've always been playing basketball since I can remember. When I moved to Juneau in the 5th grade I joined hooptime. Previously I've always had a great handle for the ball. Easily my biggest strength is my first step. I primarily score at the basket or occasionally around with a floater.

I can also hit the 3 enough to make the defender respect the shot. However I must improve my consistency from the 3 pointer, and mid-range. Coming off my junior season I got DPOY for my varsity team. I've always had the mindset to set goals, and put in the time and effort to achieve them, which translates well to my game.
